[SOLVED] binary clock plasmoid not working

Does anybody have the binary clock plasmoid working under Kubuntu? I have tried researching for about a week now and haven't got it working. I have the latest beta of KDE 4 that is available in the repositories installed with all of the extragear* packages and when I add the binary clock widget to the desktop I get a circle in the top left corner. Upon resizing the plasmoid, it is just a blank square seemingly unrecognized (right clicking it gives me the option to "Remove this Unknown Applet") and gives me no options to configure or anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLUTION:

I got this and many of the other plasmoids working by installing

sudo apt-get install kdeplasmoids kdeplasma-addons

I'm not running KDE, but I would imagine it's an issue with running a beta version. I assume it was working under 3.5? If so, that may be the best option at the moment.

The plasmoids are new to KDE 4 and I've seen this one running a few places, so somewhere is complete code for it, but I can't find source for it anywhere though
