Hi all,
Need Help.

Just recently installed ubuntu,tried to explore the OS and i like the features. Unfortunately i dont know how to connect wireless to access internet. Is there any step by step procedure on how wifi internet connection works?, i dont have friends who's using ubuntu, i dont have anybody to ask except here on this forum.please need HELP.

Are you looking to using a "wireless hotspot" or are you using your own wireless router connected to a modem?

as of the moment i am using my own wireless connection. and If you could help me also to access wireless hotspot that also a great help. Thanks for speed reply.

firstly to ensure you have your wifi drivers working.. go to the terminal and type iwconfig and post output here..

I dont know how to do that, just installed ubuntu 3days ago. Just a simple steps i want to know on how to access wifi connection. There's no problem when using Windows Vista i can access wifi connection.
