My desktop has Hardy Heron 64 bit.
My laptop has XP Pro SP3.

My desktop runs a samba server. Works great. Love it.
However, when I add new pictures to my desktop and I want the same files on my laptop, I have to overwrite everything that already exists. You know how annoying it is to re-write 15,000 pictures to my laptop when I only want to add a few extra?

Granted, I could add the individual ones, but when you add a few pictures here, a few there, a few songs, maybe a music video, a few documents, etc... it gets to be a mess.

Is there anyway I can sychronize everything to speed up the process? Therefore, all of the files that are identical to XP/Hardy, it just skips over them instead of spending the time to re-write them.

It'd be a nice feature. Figured I'd ask and try my luck.
