Hardy Heron Wireless Help?

I had installed Ubuntu 8.04 on my laptop a few days ago, and everything seems to be working smoothly... except my wireless. Ubuntu seems to detect the drivers, but doesn't pick up any wireless signal. It works AND connects perfectly in my other operating system, Windows Vista, just not Ubuntu.

If it's any help, my model is the Compaq Presario C700, and my network adapter is an Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g.

Not a simple fix sadly, but that is just the way things are I'm afraid
