Removing a download

Hello, I'm new to Ubuntu and new to the forums. I'm struggling to get my system set up.
To start off, I'm trying to install aim, I understand I needed to install WINE (done) and download an IE. However, I downloaded IE7 which can't be ran. When i download IE6 and try to run through WINE it says I can't because I already have a newer version of IE already installed. How do I uninstall IE7?

it will proberly be in
Application > wine > Uninstall Wine Software
either way you can install IE 6 regardless of the IE7 install using IEs4Linux (http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page)

It shows nothing that i can uninstall its all blank
