When I suspend my laptop, it does return to being functional, on the visual front, however, sound does not work, at all. any ideas?

What manufacturer and model of laptop are you using? And what kind of graphics and sound cards? Which audio drivers? And which version of Ubuntu?

Okay, I'll tell you all of that I know. I have an ATI integrated graphics card, no idea what sound card I have, but I do know that it was Dolby certified, totally random, I know. It's a Toshiba Satellite, I bought it in september 2007, and I don't remember the full name. Thanks in advance, and I'm running 8.04.
