I am a newbie and would like to know how to mount from a ubuntu desktop to a ubuntu server
smbmount //192.168.0.1/sharedirectory /home/user/Public -o username=baba, uid=1000,gid=baba 0 0
I cannot get the right permission even with uid=1000 and gid=1000 or 100.
Server is Ubuntu Server 8.04 with Samba which can be connected with window machine perfectly
New Ubuntu Desktop 8.04 not able to mount with permission
