So, there goes:
I have 8.04.1 64bit running on an Acer aspire 5680 laptop with a 7600 Nvidia card. I recently downloaded and installed the Nvidia settings package and was able to change the washed out low saturation default colors on my screen.
The thing is that when I log off or shut down the pc, upon logon or startup the color configuration is back to where it was before my adjustments. It appears that these are saved, because when I run the Nvidia Xserver settings they are instantly loaded again until I shut down etc etc.
I tried to run Nvidia Xserver settings as root (both with sudo and gksu) but the prolem persists, so
Is there a way to make my color adjustments the default ones? How can I have them without running Nvidia Xserver settings each and every time I boot?
Thanks in advance.
