[SOLVED] Wireless Gone ??

Hi there;

I have run into a bizarre problem;

I have a Br0adcom wireless card in an Acer aspire 3000 laptop. I have been using this card with b43-fwcutter for months without any problems.

All of a sudden the wireless has stopped working. The wireless light is on, the networkmanager attempts to connect to the wireless network but to no avail. No wireless networks are detected. I tried purging b43 fwcutter, and re-installing it, still does not work. Any advise ??
