Hi!

I just installed Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04) on my HP dv6544eo laptop. Everything worked smoothly, ubuntu detected my videocard and my wireless card. I installed the wireless card (Broadcom) with b43-cutter (that was offered by ubuntu) and it works!

But when I remove my charger the wireless card just shuts down, och the "active-led" is just blinking "on"-"off". But when I connect the power back on and restart ubuntu, the card starts to work again.

Why can't I run my wireless card on battery? Is there some sort of powersaving?

Thanks!
