when CD is inserted it shows the ubuntu cd startup screen I then select run/install from the menu, it then seems to load but then stops and shows something like this

I/O Error Fd0

If I'm correct that is the floppy, I do not have one so I turned it off on the bios, but now its still the same (not loading) without the Fd0 error

anyone know if I can run by pressing F6 on the install disc and adding a command like gneric_sata or something???

I am running a Asus P5q-e Motherboard, Q6600, 2gb ram, HD4850 gpu, 250gb HD
