View Full Version : Problem with Apollon

I installed Apollon using Adept and it seemed to work fine at first. I compiled the missing plugins so that I had Ares + FastTrack + Gnutella + OpenFT apparently working fine. My problem is that, after I start about 3 downloads, I can't download any more files, that is, I double click them, but they don't appear in the transfer list. Also, after some time, my searches return no results, even though all networks seem to be connected.
I also tried to compile giFT + Apollon + all plugins using Arkollon. After solving some dependency problems, I was able to install all programs perfectly. But the problem above remains. Does anyone know how to solve that? Maybe some giFT/Apollon settings?
Thanks for the help

That's weird... I guess those errors only happen when I try to download songs that have the characters ã, â, ô, etc. in their names (Brazilian songs). It seems there is a character set incompatibility that crashes Apollon or giFT. Does anyone know anything that may help?

Oh, I also forgot to mention that the characters ã, õ, â, ô, etc. are not displayed properly in Apollon. They all show up as a rectangle, what makes me thing that there really is a character set conflict. Does that ring a bell?
