flash, youtube kills audio on local players

im running hardy, and ive had this problem with both computers that i run ubuntu on. i have flash running in firefox, and if i visit a page like youtube or pandora then try to play audio from a local player such as rhythmbox, it wont play. this is quite frustrating. im sure others have had this problem, but i havent really seen anyone with the exact same thing. ive tried a few of the other fixes, but it doesnt really seem to help me.

sudo apt-get install libflashsupportworked for me.
