Hey this question has probably been asked a thousand times, in fact I know it has at least a few because I searched but most of the posts never really came to a conclusion and I wanted to see if maybe things had changed recently. I am building a media center in my living room and plan on using Linux MCE or just setting up the apps I want packaged on linux mce myself on ubuntu.
So anyways is there a tv tuner that can playback hd channels from my comcast subscription. I know there are ones that can use those antennas but that seems useless I already pay for comcast and I want more than just a couple channels in hd.
I stumbled upon some forum post on another site saying those ATI things could do it using Clear QMA, but ati says I need vista and windows media center. Can anyone confirm that this might work on linux.
