View Full Version : [kde] Kpowersave and automatically starting apps in kde 4

I'm running Kubuntu with KDE 4.1 Beta 2. I have a couple of problems that are related to auto-starting applications. I cannot change the screen brightness unless I start kpowersave (Alt+F2 and 'kpowersave'). However, I can't figure out how to start this (or any app) automatically when I log on. I know how to in Gnome, but I couldn't find anything in the System Setting manager.
Another, sort of related thing, there is no option to suspend on the K-menu. I can right click on kpowersave and choose it there, but I would like to add the option to the main menu.

Thanks for the help.
