Grub error 15?

My girlfriend installed Gutsy over her Hardy installation for wireless support for her dongle, and everything appeared to be fine, until she called me and said that she got the Grub error 15.

Is there a remedy for this? I've read up on the super grub disk, and that sounds promising, but she can't access either XP or Ubuntu because of this, so burning disc would be impossible for her right now. She does have a live cd though, and i've been reading possible solutions.

and at the grub prompt in the terminal at the live cd, the command

find /boot/grub/stage1

Gives her another error 15.

any thoughts or solutions?

supergrub is quite handy for this.. it can fix grub and mbr, plus is able to restore the windows mbr - which can be handy..

Okay. I burned the CD. it boots on my computer here at home, I'll have to head over her house tomorrow, it's quarter to 2 AM here.

Hopefully that works. if there's any other suggestions, PLEASE let them be known! :)
