Hi
I have Intel Server Platform SR1530 with motherboard S3000AH and Intel Xeon Processor.
I have installed Ubuntu Server 8.04 LTS. Lm-sensors loads three modules: i2c-i801 , lm85 , coretemp. Command sensors-detect display all data with three fans speed , temperature of all four cores of processor and system temperature. Cpu frequencing is ok.

So, i have problem with pwmconfig. It detects fans - display speeds, but throw a message that "Manual control is not supported". One of fans has speed about 12000rpm. It's too loud.

I have "googled" to solve this, but i couldn't find any help.

Is there solution of this problem?
In my home ubuntu a didn't have any problem with fancontrol.

thans for any advice.
