File missing in MonoDevelop?

Hi,

I've installed MonoDevelop so I could do some programming in a language I'm familiar with (C sharp). When I try to build the program I wrote it says that it couldn't find the file:"gmcs" Does anyone know where to get this file from?

Yes i got that too.
Anyhows here is a step by step of how to fix that:

1)Go to your System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager
2)Click under search and type gmcs
3)It will show up a bunch off alternatives or just the mono-gmcs
4)Simply click its check box and install.
