I saw that Firefox 3.0.1 is available in Hardy Proposed. I went ahead and installed the new version to test it out and it works well. As I understand it, 3.0.1 will address security issues with Firefox 3.
Does anyone have information on when the xulrunner packages for the new version will become available? This is not a problem for people using English as their language.
So far I have found no issues with 3.0.1.

Is it related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/248204 ?

It would certainly appear to be related. My system tells me that Xulrunner (en-GB) is not supported and also that Firefox (en-GB) is not supported. So - this is an issue for English speakers. Does it mean that this version only supports US-American?

Yes, thank you for posting a link.
I have the same two packages disabled. I use English for my language so it is not really hurting anything on my system. I am sure the packages will be updated soon.

Thank you Ubuntu Development Team for your nice work.
