View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ndiswrapper ???????

How the heck do I get ndiswrapper to work on my linux computer. I cant go on the internet if I dont have it. I cant download anything without internet, how do I get it to work??? I just need to know how to install ndiswrapper. And then once its installed what do I do, can somebody give me like step by step directions or something?

Canonical took this issue into consideration and wisely included ndiswrapper on your installation CD. :) Check out the link from Alan34.
(edit) ps Hopefully you have the driver CD that came with your wireless; if not, you may need to download it from the manufacturer's website using a different computer that does have web access. :(

Shenza or anyone can you guys help me i got wired but not the other one. it just vanished after i downloaded things at download manager, so please can you help me( and sorry if i entered in ths forum (if is a problem so sorry!!!!:()

Well if you say you have wired (assuming that you mean wired connection) you might try unpluging the wire and plugging it back in again, sometimes that kind of stuff fixes evferything. I am not exactly sure what you are trying to say but I suggest that you post a new thread or something like that. Anyway, I know its hard but I wish you the best of luck.
