Ubuntu stops at the end of installation

Hi,

im trying to install ubuntu 8 for sparc on a Sun UltraSparc IIi

but im having problems. it always stops at the end of the instalation with the empty blue screen.

Can anyone tell me why???

since u are a really cool awesome guy.. why dont use debian for sparc instead of Ubuntu (version DontLikeToMakeCompleteInstall)???
