yeah hi guys i just downloaded ubuntu 8.04.1 and installed it again so i was wondering i want to make some videos and put them on youtube on the windows i used alot of different kind of screenrecorders but for the Ubuntu, i was wondering if you guys can tell me which one i should use plz ... i really need it thanks

Xvidcap works great for me. Exports as mpeg by default and you can set it to record a portion of your screen or the whole screen.
