View Full Version : Cant install Gecko Engine?

I just installed Wine 1.10, running on Ubuntu 8.04.1 64bit.
Ran "wine iexplorer http://www.google.com"
and it offered to install the Gecko engine, great!
Hit Install; said it was downloading, then never actually installs, and iexplorer says "HTML RENDERING IS DISABLED"

Anyone got a fix? :(

I have the same issue and would like to have some feedback from other users. Whenever I try to make a new wineprefix, Gecko download and install fail altogether.

This happens both on Ubuntu 8.04 and Mac OS X 10.5.4
