View Full Version : [ubuntu] [SOLVED] How can i increase my Refresh rate of display(screen) ?

I have Nvidia card and installed all things. But i've currently 1440x900 and 50 Hz refresh rate. It must be 75 Hz how can i increase it ?

have you tried going to system > prefs > screen resolution

yep there's no 75 Hz, there had just 50,51,52 Hz.

Same situation. 50hz and only option was to increase it to 52hz. I know how to fix this in slackware but as im new to ubuntu... :P

oh yes i gotta solution. but if your video card is just Nvidia.
sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings
install it then get smile :guitar:

if ATI i don't know sorry.

I'll try that. thx. Nvidia card is what i have.

I think i found another similar like solution also. Im starting to find stuff on the board now that is usefull. :)
