Finally, last night, after years of on-and-off attempts, I finally figured out how to set python in the Environment Variable of XP. I can now run python source! LOL

I'm not sure, but I think I tried ActivePython a while back and I having the same problem. I was trying to run a version of PySol that was in Python source. It was the PySol Solitaire website that recommended ActivePython. It could have been a different distribution though, I can't remember.
Hey, that wasn't praise.:)
Thanks for the info though.
