In the gallery, there's an Image Tools > Add to Favorites option.

I think it would be a good idea to have a similar option for posts.

Imagine the situation, you have a problem, and somewhere in the forums you find the solution. Then you reinstall for some reason and have the same problem over again. It would be nice to have a Favourite posts section to 'store' all the posts which have fixed your problems in the past, for easy retrieval.

Not the subscribed threads, that's different. Right now I have 234 subscribed threads, among them are maybe a dozen I might like to refer back to in the event of a reinstall.

Just a thought, anybody agree?

Did you try creating folders for your subscriptions? You can have a "reminders" folder for threads that you'll want to refer to in each installation for example.

Where do you create such folders? It sounds like a hassle compared with simply marking a post as a favourite, like you can in the gallery.

See the menu on the left side of the page you get when you hit "subscribe to this thread"? There's an "edit folders" menu item there. No hassle really; it takes two clicks to add a thread to a certain subscription folder.

You mean like LinuxQuestions.org's Bookmarks section? That'd be WONDERFUL!
