i have Ubuntu Hardy 64bit

i just installed a bunch of awesome games from getdeb.net

in some of the games there is no sound including theese ones
Alien Arena
Bos Wars
Dream Chess
Sauerbraten
Stepmania 4

and in all of theese games i have downloaded so far i cant figure out how to use my usb gamepad
Alien Arena

This is how I got my saitek working, nice little gamepad, grab jscalibrate while your at it from synaptic package manager. Be sure to look through the games in there as well.

i installed the jscallibrator and the xserver-xorg-input-joystick

i have the gamepad working fine with my SNES9X emulator
(that has bee working before installing this stuff

but i still cant figure out how to use it for the actual linux games that i mentioned above

is it even do-able?
anyone?

and what about the sound with those certain games?

You can try System-Preferences-Sound and try some of the sound options in there, be sure to take a screenshot of your default settings so you can put it back the way you found it if you need to.
