My audio for dvd's, iso, and redordings seems almost fast (sounds high pitched but matches the video) Mp3's play fine. If someone could tell me where to look for problems it would be much appreciated. It was working great for weeks with no changes. It started in the middle of a movie.
Ok here is more info, i tried adjusting the timing and it just slows the video and audio down but the pitch is still high. Has nobody run into anything like this?

need more info :)
1) what version/release of mythbuntu?
2) what architecture? i386 or amd64?
3) do you have all the related plugins installed? I'm not sure how mythbuntu handles the restricted codecs, but have you installed the medibuntu (http://www.medibuntu.org) repository? Did you install the following packages: libdvdread3 libdvdcss2 w32codecs (or w64codecs for amd64?)

It worked fine for about a month and freaked out in the middle of a movie....

I've seen this on my setup.
For me, turning off, [use video as timebase (experimental)] solves the problem.
It's under - setup - tv settings - playback - (somewhere on page 1 of 9)
The utility seems to work for a while and then either an update OR (quite possibly) my messing about with the config/setup seems to prevent it working properly; this has happened twice now, once with Gutsy and now with Hardy!
