What's the different between "enable roaming mode" vs "dhcp" in network setting?

I have try to use both of theme, it's working fine to connect with networking and internet sharing...

I need enlightenment, please...

It isn't really one or the other: it depends on a combination of personal preference, and the way the network(s) you connect to are set up.

Roaming mode lets you take your laptop and use a number of different networks, some of which might use DHCP, and some of which don't. There are provisions for allowing Ubuntu remember the settings for each network you connect to.

What DHCP does, amongst other things, is allow the network you connect to automatically assign a network address, which identifies your computer on the network.
