I have been all through my settings, had help from chili555 (very nice member who spent 3hrs helping me) I reinstalled Ubuntu Hardy and I STILL get NO working leases in persistent database - sleeping.

I have RTFM extensively & I sure wish I knew what the matter is.

Now I get grep: /etc/resolv.conf: no such file or directory
