View Full Version : Will X.org 7.4 be in Intrepid?

It's in Fedora 9 and has some awesome fixes for a lot of the stupid things X has done since the beginning of time, and also lets you run an ATI radeon with full OpenGL acceleration with the free driver from X.

It looks like everything else is shaping up quite nicely, but I'd hate to see the new X be left out.

I noticed the DebianImportFreeze, does this automatically mean a no on the new X?

The x org mailing list announcement covers the fixes - from memory I think the number was 81 or similar

Tons with fixes just for the server...but the build failed on friday.

Are you on Itanium then??? AMD64 built fine:
