im running Ubuntu ultimate running compiz and distro 7.10 is there a way to use emerald and where can i get it synaptic only has it listed for use with beryl is there another place to get it?:lolflag:

Beryl doesn't exist any more. Read (http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/AboutCompizFusion). As Compiz-Fusion has come pre-installed since Gutsy, you just need to install the package 'emerald', though you should also get some themes.

Even though it says for use with Beryl, that's just because no one's probably bothered to update the package description in a while. Install the package emerald, hit alt+f2 and do
emerald --replace
to use emerald (with compiz).
