I'm using Wine 1.1.0 in Ubuntu 8.04 and I can't get Runaway: A Road Adventure to run. Is anyone able to play this game? I can only get Runaway 2 to run but not the first one.

You should check out appdb.winehq.org to check to see if programs work on Wine and how well. Here's the page for your program:

I already checked that. That doesn't do anything for me.

It tells you that other people have tested it as garbage on some versions of Wine but gold on others.

How did you run Runaway 2? I can't even install it. When i run:
:~$ wine e:/Setup.exe
I get:
wine: could not load L"E:\\Setup.exe": Bad EXE format for
And when I run Autorun.exe I get popup window saying Error: File not found (The same is when I click on Autorun)
