Hi. I like the default Ubuntu theme, however I want to add more icons. Like a guitar for guitar pro files (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5) and a coffee cup for .java and .jar files. Is there anyway I can add these icons to the default theme? Thanks.

I am not sure this still works( I guess so), but try it out:

Maybe you could navigate to your current themes icon directory (/usr/share/icons/(Your Theme), figure out the name of the icon which you wish to change, make a backup of that icon and just drop the new icon you wish to use in that folder with the old icon's name.

I think that should work, but have never done it myself.

That would work, I have done it myself. But not if the icon for a specific extension is not there.
