Tutorial video problem

I have AMD64 and Ubuntu 8.04. When I try to watch a tutorial video

an empty window pop-ups but no video is running ...

It's a flash video.
Install flashplugin-nonfree from synaptic Package Manager, Add/Remove... or from the
terminal:
sudo aptitude install flashplugin-nonfree

The flashplugin-nonfree was already installed. I uninstalled & installed it again, restarted Firefox but the same sad result ... no video is running ... just an empty popup window. When I right-click in the empty window and point at About Adobe Flash Player 9 it tells me that it is successfully installed and that version no is 9.0.124.0
Hmmm :confused: ... what do you suggest

It works with www.youtube.com but not with the adobe-link.
Totally confused :confused: ... what is the difference ???
