[SOLVED] Firefox 3 title bar missing...

I am new to Linux, but have tried some troubleshooting myself. The Problem: Title Bar, with min max and close buttons is gone. Firefox is taking up the whole screen, covering up my task bars as well, so all I can do is Alt-tab or close it. I have tried completely uninstalling it and reinstalling it, to no avail. As I said, I am a newbie, so please dumb it down for me a little. Thank you.

Does pressing F11 help?

Thank you, but no, that just takes away the toolbars too so that the page is full screen. As it is, all the toolbars are there, just not titlebar at the top with the website title, and the window control buttons to close it.

Edit: Pressing F11 does make it come back for this session, but when I close Firefox, and open it back up, it is back to being gone again. Any other suggestions?

Hold down Alt and click anywhere on Firefox. Can you drag it down? Can you see the titlebar now? If yes, then first maximize Firefox and then close and re-open it.

Sorry for the long time between posts, I had really screwed things up, and actually re-installed Ubuntu...I really need to learn what I am doing, haha :). Before it messed up, I installed Kubuntu-desktop into ubuntu, and upgraded it to the new beta. When I uninstalled that, firefox was back to normal, but there were lots of errors because I didn't uninstall it right. So I just redid everything, now it is back to normal. Funny, the only program that was affected was Firefox, and it was in both Gnome and KDE...

Thanks, LinuxInnovation! You saved me a headache, could not figure out why FF was acting up. The Alt drag was the key, I must have done that earlier by mistake.
