Error 21 when installing UO

I tried to install UO with cedega and wine but I got this error 21 both times. I searched these forums and tried the instructions which I found: disable prelink and exec-shield, change mount options etc. I tried locating prelink but it appears that it's not installed and I can't locate exec-shield neither. I already changed the mount options and tried the legacy thingie too so what could be the problem?

If anyone has got these kind of problems fixed, please post how did you got past that Error 21. :mad:

Not sure what error 21 is but I just installed UO:AOS and didn't get that. At what point do you get the error?

Been there, done that, nothing works for me :)

The setup file doesn't start at all btw. The error comes when I try to execute it. Anyway, I'll just wait for cedega 5.0 and try again then. There's a countdown timer at transgaming's website to 5.0 :J

Nice, I just got UO installed. I figured out that I had the exact problem back in my win2k days, the setup (15-day trial setup which you can get from the net) didn't start. I had to install winzip and manually extract files from the .exe file. The setup program ran fine.

It's funny that I have all the same problems which I had with win2000. CS has noticeably lower fps and that UO didn't extract itself. :cool:
