Which laptop?

Hi all

I'm sure there have already been posts in this vein, but it's probably the sort of subject that's worth revisiting every so often!

I'm looking to buy a new laptop - small and fast, built-in 3G, that kind of thing...any views on what is likely to give the best compatibility/fewest issues with Ubuntu? The answer used to be Thinkpads - is that still the case?

Ive noticed that generally if the laptop uses Intel graphics and CPU its less hassle and works OK without effort if that helps. Some of the Toshiba laptops are slow but obviously not all.

Advent laptops have worked well and of course Dell actually ship laptops pre-loaded with Ubuntu.
