[SOLVED] I have a huge spare partion, how do set up a home partion.

I Have a partition with linux mint on it at the moment, and I want to make it my home partition and keep everything in my home directory on it. How do I go about doing this, and does it mean that when ibex comes out, I can just reinstall, then come back and find everything set up (programs and stuff) the way they were?

All your settings will be saved but there's a chance that some settings might not work well with newer versions of applications.
