won't boot

Hi,

I stuck already at the first step.

I have a laptop there is a windows installed on it. i1ve downloded the ubuntu image file, burned it on a cd.
When I choose to boot from the cd it won't boot and the windows loads.

What am I doing wrong?

Could be a number of things, but firstly make sure that your BIOS is setup to boot from the CD (I assume you have done this as you get the boot prompt)
Secondly, did you check the CD for errors when you burned it?

Sorry it was my mistake, I burned the cd the wrong way.
