Hi!
I just completed a fresh install of xubuntu that doesnt list my hard drives/ partitions at all.
I installed Xubuntu 8.04 from within windows using Wubi, and installed it "inside of windows" so i could remove it from within windows should i need to.
Why is it not listing my drives? and when i installed Gparted using synaptic and tried to open GParted it gave the following error:
Failed to mount "WAFFLES". (my second partition, D:\)
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed auth_admin_keep_always <-- (action, result).
Second time i opened GParted, for my C: drive it showed a little error icon next to the drive name, which could be double clicked to say:
Unable to find mount point.
Unable to read the contents of this file system!
Because of this some operations may be unavailable
