I have an oldish IOGear KVM which uses Ctrl-Ctrl to switch ports (left side to switch back, right side to switch forward). It does not use Scroll Lock like some IOGear KVMs. It works fine with my Windows and Mac machines, but Ubuntu seems to swallow the key sequence and I have to crawl under my desk and press the physical button to switch away.
Does anyone know how to get around this? I'm guessing it has something to do with the Ubuntu desktop hotkey handler or with Gnome but I'm just a casual user and don't have much expertise in tweaking the key handling of these components.
thanks!
