I'm using AMD64 Ubuntu 8.04. I have this printer right here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=439320&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us. I've tried going here: http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/index.html, but although its listed under the supported printers section, it says that it is not network supported. That is a semi-lie. When I first set up my box with Ubuntu, fresh install, I messed around and fiddled with it enough, and somehow -still to my astonishment- it worked. Furthermore, it was over a WIRELESS NETWORK! It printed fine, until one day, when it just quit. I still suspect it to be the cause of having to update my wireless driver...Dirty |-|03...I want to know if anyone can help me rig this up again, so that it can work, although chances of someone having this printer, AND being on here, is slim. Hmmm....also when I look at my network, it never shows the other computers on it like Window$* I hate that it can't recognize those other OS on the network. Can anyone at least help me on this part, and if it helps, I'll be able to get the driver working myself I believe. Also, no, installing it manually through the printers section and picking the printer model doesn't work, cause I can't first get Ubuntu to recognize Window$ computers attached to the private network.** ](*,):-({|=

*I'm just trying not to direct Window$ users here, that's all.
**I set it up myself finally, first time, didn't work for so long 'cause I had one setting off ...Oh, back to business :-\".
