Hello, I recently installed 8.04 on my friend's new laptop. At first the laptop's wireless type was being detected.. but ubuntu was saying something about the drivers (I am not sure of the correct term, sorry). I searched the net and found a solution and I got it working.
Today I talked with him and he said last night there was an update he installed through the auto update. Today, he has no wireless. What can I tell him to do? Why would the update mess something up?
