I am tring to connect to the internet using a dialup modem (no broadband in my area) I have a sitecom conextant hsf chipset modem I downloaded the linux driver from there site but this is in RPM format and I need DEB format I am a complete linux newbie. I did some checking and found that I can convert from RPM to DEB format using an application called ALIEN using synaptic I found that I also need 9 other files my question is how and where can I download these files in the .deb format. I tried the ubuntu packages site but could not find them sorry if I am missing something obvious any help would be appreciated thanks
PS I would be downloading using windows.
