Is there a site that has all products or software for Ubuntu 7.10?

If so, could I have the URL or advice of where to get it. I am asking because I have gotten software that didnt work due to it was the wrong file. I asked my bro and he said they were the right ones but didnt work.

There is: http://packages.ubuntu.com/
but you are better off installing things through the Synaptic package manager (Applications >> Administration)

Why do you need the site when you can install everything through synaptic or APT?
Software installed through these get automatic updates and are safer then manually downloaded ones.
You should download only if you are sure that the package is not available in the repositries.

you could try sourceforge.net (http://http://sourceforge.net) . but you`ll have to narrow your search there . Still it is the best.
