ATI Mobility Radeon X2300

Hi, I have just installed ubuntu on my new Sony CR42S Laptop and all went well except for the onboard graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon X2300). I cannot currently enable desktop effects?

Has anyone got this graphics chip working with ubuntu?

Did you install/enable the restricted driver? Make sure you do a sudo apt-get update before installing drivers.
