Facing problem with my laptop!!

Hi friends,

I am facing following problem with my laptop:

screen goes blank as soon as I switch it ON.

Can anybody tell me if this problem is related to motherboard someway. I am facing this problem very often even when the battery charger is put ON.

It could be settings in System>Preferences>Power Management that are causing that. You could back up any hidden files related to power management and hope the system creates new default files that don't immediately dim your display.
