Heya. I just bought this notebook and put ubuntu 8.04 on it. It's a Zepto Znote. I used to have a Lenovo Thinkpad R51, and I got used to the touchpad behaviour on that machine.. Back then I used 7.10.
Anyway, to the problem. The touchpad does not "activate" when i touch the right part of the pad. I can scroll just fine with the scroll area, but I have to "activate" the pad before by moving the mouse with the left part of the pad.
What I'd like is for the pad to activate when I touch the scroll area first. If the pad goes "inactive" now, if I don't use the pad for 3 sec or so, I can not scroll without activating it again.
I'm not sure this makes sense, please tell me if it does not. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm an old time user, so don't be afraid to suggest more intricate solutions if there are any. Again, thanks for reading this and thanks for the help in beforehand.
