great. and the stupid eBay reporting thing doesn't even have an "inappropriate use of trademarks" - but they DO separate out handbags, watches, jewelry, and all that crap into three separate categories...

oh, can you change the title of this thread to "Ubuntu logo being used on eBay!!!" or something like that? hopefully it'll get more attention and someone can quicky forward it to Ubuntu's 'people who can do stuff about it'

I just 'reported' this thread, saying that there is nothing wrong with the post but relaying the trademark use on ebay. The administrators now shoud be aware of it.

Looks a lot like the Nero logo down toward the bottom also.

This seems to be the most appropriate response.

Also, further down the page where it says 'Pickup Available', the box in the picture has the KDE symbol on the side. And the 'Tracking Delivery System' icon looks disturbingly like Safari. What a stupid place to use a bunch of software icons!

Actually, that looks like Webkit's icon with the compass color inverted.

How many logos can you spot? I see Ubuntu, KDE, Nero, and even the iPhone lock icon.

im guessing this person might have downloaded these icons in an icon pack, and is using them. he also probably never heard of foss, or anything like that, so has no clue what these icons are for, and is using them w/o any knowledge as to its ownership.

e.g. alot of icon themes in gnome-look.org have copyrighted logos, but the packs are uploaded as gpl-ed packs... therefore when he downloaded the packs, he might have thought all the icons in the pack were gpl-ed as well.

It's called the Circle of Friends (or CoF for short), by the way.
